We used Bedford House Clearance after finding them through their alternative company St Neots House Clearance on a google search.We were moving my Dad from Buckden up to Scotland to be near us due to his dementia. From the very first contact Louis was friendly, helpful and professional. He met me at my Dad's house during our whistle stop visit and gave sound advice regarding the scope of the works, actively encouraging me not to spend money that he felt would make no difference when selling the property.We agreed a price which I'm sure may not be the cheapest you might find but this is definitely a 'you get what you pay for' kind of company. They also have all the appropriate licenses so I had peace of mind that the contents from the house would all be disposed of appropriately.I trusted Louis from the moment we met and left him keys for the house as we were heading back to Scotland. He did exactly what he promised, when he said he would. This was a big job and the standard of work was exceptional. I also used Louis' company to clean the house following the clearance and was delighted with the results. He sent me videos of the entire house, garden and garage and what he had managed to achieve far exceeded my expectations.I would not hesitate to recommend Bedford House Clearance and would absolutely use them again if the need arose. Louis helped to make what was quite a stressful situation far more bearable. It's not often you come across individuals who restore your faith in human nature so emphatically but he did.

Must admit that I was initially shocked at the quoted price and still believe it to be on high side. However, Louis took the time to explain the whole house clearance procedure and the costs involved when dealing with household waste. He was very professional and kept me fully informed at all times. On the day, he and his team arrived promptly and cleared my late mother's flat of everything, including carpets and underlay, unlike other operatives who pick and choose what they'll take.
